2/21/10 -The Fort Wayne Street Kids softball
team hosted a special Street Kids Care event this
past Sunday at Crazy Pinz on Lima Road in Fort
Wayne. The event - a no tap bowling tourney -
raised $3,500 for H.O.P.E. For Animals, an
organization to prevent euthanasia in the FW
area. Last year, over 11,000
animals were euthanized in
Fort Wayne alone. SK Care,
thanks to Melissa Stevenson
of FW Street Kids, is making
it their goal to bring awareness
to this growing problem.
