SKS (5-0) Win 2nd Leg of Directors Cup

Muncie, IN-

The Street Kids/Wildman softball team went a perfect 5-0 in Muncie, Indiana and won the second leg of the NSA Directors Cup, including beating the reigning NSA "B" World Champions Plumbers and Piperfitters twice.

Faron Miller was nearly perfect at the plate and he and a finally healthy Chad "Cat" Marchand locked teams down on the mound all day. Miller was named MVP of the tourney while Joe Peelle, Leland Schmucker, Kevin Lewandowski and Scott Martin were named to the all tourney team. Also standing out with huge offensive performances were Joe Horvath and Jeremy Hochstetler.

The Kids (15-5 overall) will return to Indianapolis this weekend for the largest NSA upper division tourney in recent memory, which is the third leg of the Directors Cup. They play at 9am on Saturday.
